For the linear thermal bridge from a plumbing stack is the length the height of the building (basement drain to vent at roof) or is it just a few feet from the bottom and top of the pipe?

Where am I?

passipedia to the rescue, answered my own question, it is the total length of pipe from the sewer up inside the thermal envelope.
